We seek to be a welcoming, spiritual home for English-speaking people in Santiago, inspiring joyful Christian faith, and nurturing a loving community that serves our neighbors as disciples of Jesus Christ.

LENT READINGS
Why LENT?
Unless we take Lent seriously, we cannot experience deeply the joy of Easter!
We need to see the full humanity of Jesus as he walked the hard road to the Cross.
TWO ALTERNATIVES
Lectio365
Some people find these readings and reflections very helpful. The link for the app to receive them on your phone can be found at:
Scroll down if the button to unload the App does not appear on screen at once, click and then choose either the Apple/iPhone or the Google Play/Android button.
The App offers readings for Morning, Midday and Night. Choose whichever one you feel right for you. (Perhaps Midday is the most appropriate.)
Reading Mark’s Gospel
You may prefer to follow Jesus from his baptism to Jerusalem by reading Mark 1-12. Keep in mind the following questions and apply them to each incident:
- What did the onlookers (if any) see and understand?
- What about the people more directly involved?
- How did the disciples react?
- What does all this show you about Jesus?
When you have read the whole passage incident by incident, take a pause for reflection and ask yourself:
In all this, is there something that stands out as particularly important for me today?

Upcoming Annual General Meetings
SAVE THE DATE for our upcoming Annual General Meetings!
Yes, two AGMs this year, as we are in transition from the old institution to the new. These will be held one after the other, with the second AGM being necessary to transact certain legal business such as the election of the new council and should be relatively short. In the near future we will give fuller details and explanations.
